Kouta Hirano

A classmate of Takashi. Initially, he referred to himself as "boku," but when he got angry at Shido, he switched to "ore," adopting a rougher tone, and eventually settled on "ore."

A chubby military otaku who follows Saya. His father is a jeweler, his mother a fashion designer, his grandfather a former captain of an overseas route, and his grandmother a former violinist, making his family background "perfect." He ranked 2nd in popularity polls.

Usually a gentle boy, he becomes aggressive when holding firearms. Although he has no talent for hand-to-hand combat, he demonstrates shooting skills acquired from training with the American PMC, Blackwater. He skillfully handles a self-made modified nail gun created in the school's workshop, a sniper rifle-modified AR-10 obtained at the Minami residence, and a Luger P08 entrusted to him by Saya, mercilessly mowing down "them" with a cruel smile. Due to his extensive knowledge of firearms and military/police matters, he also serves as an advisor to the group.

Before the story began, he was insulted by Shido and bullied by other students. Although not to the extent of Rei, he resents Shido for mocking him while knowing the reality of the bullying. As a result, he is adept at analyzing and understanding the psychology of people in extreme situations based on his own experiences.

He harbors secret feelings for Saya but lacks immunity to women, often blushing and getting nosebleeds when he sees the female members in revealing situations.

His name is derived from Kouta Hirano, the author of 'HELLSING.'
