Like Rei, she has been a childhood friend since kindergarten. She is strong-willed and prides herself on being a genius, calmly assessing their situation with her abundant knowledge, serving as a strategist within the group.

A glasses-wearing girl with twin tails. A beautiful girl boasting proportions second only to Shizuka. It seems she has no siblings.

At the start of the story, she harbored secret feelings for Takashi, but he only saw her as a childhood friend, and even forgot her existence during the classroom escape, leading to no progress. She reunites with the group in front of the staff room with Kouta. As a result, after escaping the school, she gradually begins to show feelings for Kouta. After escaping the shopping mall, her romantic feelings for Kouta are still faint, but her trust in him has already grown strong, with Takashi observing that "if Kouta dies, Saya will also break."

Initially, she did not think favorably of Rei, often casting unfriendly glances at her, but her attitude softens as they continue to act together.

Her main weapons are a Luger P08 entrusted to her by her mother at home (later given to Kouta) and an H&K MP5SFK obtained at the Tokonushi Police Station's Special Investigation Unit Tokonushi Branch.

Her name is derived from the former actress Saya Takagi.

Anime Version

Her role is slightly increased, such as replacing Morita's role, who sympathized with Takashi's situation at the beginning of the original Volume 1, with Saya. The voice actress Kitamura commented that "it was fun to perform."
