Isa Nyuudou

Isa Nyuudou is one of the Ten Braves who directly serve the demon emperor Ramaga.

Among the Ten Braves, he is the only one whose appearance is clearly inhuman.

He is the younger brother of Seikai Nyuudou and follows him everywhere, acting as a devoted little-brother type character.

Isa has the verbal habit of responding to others with a repetitive affirmative, enthusiastically agreeing with what they say.

In combat, Isa wields a gigantic kendama-style weapon, swinging it around with brute force.

His fighting style emphasizes power and coordination with his brother, combining their attacks for maximum impact.

His voice actor is Kohei Amasaki.

Isa deeply admires his older brother Seikai Nyuudou and tends to act in support of him rather than taking the lead himself.

He willingly follows Seikai’s judgment and often mirrors his moods and reactions.

He has a habit of affirming others’ statements with a short, repetitive “yeah, yeah”-type response.

This tic makes him come across as simple, straightforward, and easy to read, but also oddly endearing.

Isa is quick to anger when his brother or fellow Ten Braves are mocked or threatened.

At the same time, he shows emotional solidarity with his comrades, trying to comfort them in his own clumsy but sincere way.

Service to Ramaga and the Ten Braves

Isa is introduced as one of Ramaga’s Ten Braves, an elite group of warriors tasked with invading and subjugating the human world.

He participates as part of this group rather than as a lone actor, usually seen alongside Seikai Nyuudou and the other Braves.

His loyalty is primarily directed toward Ramaga and his own brother.

Isa rarely questions orders and instead reacts emotionally to events around him, reinforcing his role as a supporting but enthusiastic subordinate.

Episode 1

During the invasion of the human world, Isa takes the field under the overall direction of Gai, together with the other Ten Braves.

He joins his comrades in a brutal assault, helping to massacre humans and bring the Shinjuku area under their control.

Later, when the Ten Braves gather to celebrate their victory, the planned feast is ruined because Gai is captured by humans.

In the ensuing tension, Kamanosuke provokes Seikai Nyuudou by mocking him as part of a “carefree brothers” duo, and Isa becomes angry alongside his brother at the insult.

Episode 3

In the demon realm, a funeral is held for Nezu, who has fallen in battle.

Isa attends the ceremony with the other Ten Braves, taking part in the mourning.

When Anayama, enraged by Nezu’s death, shouts that he cannot forgive what has happened, Seikai Nyuudou offers emotional support, telling him to lean on their chests and cry as much as he needs.

Isa reinforces this attempt at comfort, backing his brother up and trying to encourage Anayama in his characteristic affirming manner.

Episode 4

Later, Sasuke reveals to the other Ten Braves that Saizou has been carrying out a secret mission directly ordered by Ramaga and has been acting with a different objective from the rest of them.

Isa reacts with clear surprise, mirroring the shock shared by the other Ten Braves upon learning that Saizou had a separate, hidden agenda.

Episode 5

Isa joins the other Ten Braves in creating and maintaining a mystical barrier to protect Ramaga.

However, the barrier is shattered when Yamato launches a powerful attack, breaking through their defenses.

Isa, like the others, is forced to acknowledge that the enemy’s strength has surpassed their expectations.

This moment underlines that even the united power of the Ten Braves is not always sufficient to shield their master.

Episode 6

Isa and the other Ten Braves initially observe the battle between Ramaga and the Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers from the sidelines.

They watch as Ramaga manifests the demon fortress, the Demon Castle, above Shinjuku.

Once the Demon Castle appears in the sky, Isa and Seikai Nyuudou join the fray.

Seikai claims that the hit he took earlier from Yamato was only because he had been holding back.

Isa, as usual, enthusiastically agrees with his brother’s explanation.

The two then coordinate a joint counterattack, striking together in a well-timed combination that forces Yamato’s armor gear to deactivate.

Their teamwork highlights Isa’s role as Seikai’s dedicated partner in battle.

It also reinforces the image of the Nyuudou brothers as a dangerous and tightly synchronized pair within Ramaga’s elite forces.
