Tsukimitsu Ochi is the towering former captain of Hyotei Academy, whose calm demeanor hides a terrifying ability to psychologically dominate his opponents, earning him the nickname "Mental Assassin."
Tsukimitsu Ochi is a man of colossal stature, standing as the tallest character in the series. His most striking feature is his long bangs, which completely cover both of his eyes.
He has silver hair with distinctive blue streaks, and he's apparently been thinking about changing the color of his highlights lately. Due to his immense height and hidden eyes, he often unintentionally frightens people.
He possesses a quiet and remarkably calm disposition, often beginning his sentences with phrases that mean "for the time being" or "not particularly." This serene exterior, however, is a deceptive front for his on-court persona.
In a match, Ochi transforms into the "Mental Assassin." He uses an unnerving, unwavering stare to exert immense psychological pressure, shattering the focus of any opponent who lets their guard down.
Despite his intimidating presence, he seems to have a gentle side. He dislikes it when dogs run away from him and is self-conscious about his inability to smile, even practicing it as part of his daily routine.
Ochi is a third-year student and the current captain of Hyotei Academy's High School tennis club. He was also the captain of the middle school team, and he is the very person who elevated Hyotei into a nationally recognized powerhouse.
He is a member of the U-17 Japan Representative First String, ranked No. 9 among the elite "Genius 10." He was formerly ranked even higher, at No. 4.

Mach
His signature move is "Mach," a serve so fast that it's nearly impossible to react to and is said to be superior to those of pro players. It's so accurate that he has a 100% first-serve success rate and has never been seen hitting a second serve.
Even when holding back at 60% power, Keigo Atobe could barely return it, while Masaharu Nio (imitating Kunimitsu Tezuka) couldn't react at all. He can also unleash "Mach" as a devastating ground smash.
Warp
"Warp" is a serve that surpasses even "Mach." By adding a sharp sinker spin to his "Mach" serve, he creates a completely different and even more unpredictable trajectory.
Mental Assassin
Ochi's true weapon is his psychological warfare. His intense glare can completely dismantle an opponent's mental state, causing them to make repeated errors like double faults, as seen in his match against Keigo Atobe.
Natural Doubles Tactician
Ochi has an innate talent for drawing out the absolute maximum potential of his doubles partner. This ability allowed him to achieve "Ability Resonance" with Jusaburō Mōri.
U-17 First-String Shuffle Match
Ochi paired with Jusaburō Mōri to face the duo of Keigo Atobe and Masaharu Nio. Unfazed by falling behind, his mental pressure shattered Atobe's composure and pushed the match to a final set.
They were ultimately defeated when Atobe and Nio activated their "Synchronization." Following the match, Ochi and Mōri entrusted their team badges to the victors.
World Cup
Despite his loss, Ochi was selected to represent Japan in the World Cup alongside Mōri. In the preliminaries against Greece, he was placed in "Team Pine" and played D2 with Shūichirō Ōishi.
He unleashed his full-power "Mach" for the first time, mentally crushed his opponent Papadopoulos Evageros, and helped unlock Ōishi's true doubles potential, leading them to a decisive victory.
During the tournament to decide the finals roster, he and Mōri defeated Ikuto Kimijima and Atsukyō Tōno in D1. They then faced the mysterious Maskman H and Maskman J, where Ochi and Mōri triggered "Ability Resonance" and won with "Warp," securing their spot in the finals.
In the World Cup Finals, he and Mōri played in the D1 match against the Fratelli Bambieri pair.
In real-world tennis, the fastest recorded serve belongs to Samuel Groth at 263.4 km/h. Ochi's "Mach" is portrayed as being even faster.
His incredible height of 226cm is the same as an old-fashioned telephone booth and NBA player Tacko Fall.
In a humorous side story, he successfully used his "mental pressure" on a blonde woman to convince her to play beach volleyball with him. What even is "pressure" anymore?
