His nickname is Koi-chan. He is tall, has no eyebrows, thinning hair, and a tough-looking face—so much so that a man in a white suit once handed him a business card and invited him to work for him because he looked like a yakuza. He wears his hair slicked back and enjoys making sweets as a hobby. For the Christmas party, he brought a homemade cake for Yatora Yaguchi, Utashima, and Sumida.
He was a classmate of Sumida in elementary school, and they were both members of the cooking club in sixth grade. He often buys cakes for birthdays. He secretly gives names to local cats, and the cats he has recently befriended are named "Mezashi" and "Shishamo."
Although he had given up on his dreams due to financial and academic reasons, seeing Yatora Yaguchi inspired him, and he decided to pursue a career as a pâtissier. After graduating high school, he works part-time at a construction site during the day while attending a vocational school at night.
He is very observant, quickly noticing that Yatora Yaguchi’s first artwork was based on a view of Shibuya, and can see through Yatora’s forced smiles and lack of confidence. Because of this, Yatora often turns to Koigakubo for advice.
He rides a motorcycle and wears an apron while working.
