Lucoa

A dragon from another world (female). She is mostly called Lucoa, but Tohru sometimes refers to her by the nickname Ehecatl. In the human world, she transforms into an adult woman with bright wavy hair, horns on the sides of her head, smiling narrow eyes, heterochromia, and an exceptionally voluptuous figure. Her most frequent outfit consists of a sleeveless top, short shorts, black knee-high socks, and a baseball cap, giving her a boyish appearance, though her body shape makes any outfit look sexy. As a dragon, she takes the form of a "feathered serpent," much larger than Tohru in her dragon form, with an immensely long body that stretches across mountains and horizons, making her tail invisible.

She refers to herself as "boku" and, despite being a recluse, has a gentle and kind personality, getting along well with others. She cares deeply for her old friend Tohru and highly values and trusts Kobayashi, who guided Tohru to a peaceful life. She does not look down on humans and can think in line with human ethics and common sense, often advising Tohru on various matters from laundry and cooking to treating colds. However, she lacks understanding of human sexual norms, knowing the concept of "indecency" but not recognizing what actions fall under it, leading to unintentional bold physical contact that troubles Shouta. Her preference for revealing clothing often results in her being escorted away by security at events, earning her harsh labels like "lustful agitator," "beast of culture," and "vulgar woman."

In her time as a revered god, she contributed to cultural and agricultural advancements but, after losing her divine status, chose a neutral stance, not engaging in dragon conflicts. She is hinted to have had a physical relationship with her sister, a sensitive topic. As a "former god," she possesses extraordinary power, unmatched even by Tohru, with a wide range of abilities from spatial teleportation and object repair to memory manipulation and time reversal. She despises fighting, questioning the purpose of continuous conflict, which influenced Tohru's desire for freedom.

After being invited by Tohru to Kobayashi's house, she began visiting the human world more frequently. One day, she intervened in Shouta's dangerous demon summoning, becoming his familiar and starting to live with the Magatsuchi family. Despite her overwhelming presence, she tries to bond with Shouta through physical contact, even during sleep and baths, further confusing him.

Having lost her place due to past mistakes, she appreciates Shouta's efforts to become a capable magician worthy of her, occasionally calling him "Master" after understanding his feelings.

In the anime, she first visits Kobayashi's house in early spring (cherry blossom season) and starts living with Shouta in late spring (before the rainy season). Her dragon form silhouette is heavily stylized in the opening animation, revealed ahead of the original work. Her large bust is a recurring visual gag.

In the spin-off "Kanna's Daily Life," she often helps Kanna in exchange for Kanna promoting her good qualities to Shouta. She also assists with human farming, showing her love for peaceful and happy human lives as a "former god." In "Lucoa is My XX," she is the protagonist, using magic to hypnotize the principal of Oborozuka Elementary School to become a school nurse and swimming coach to help Shouta. Despite her bold physical contact often annoying Shouta, she cares for him, advising him when he feels inadequate.
