Daimon Hanakawa is a short, chubby boy with a strong love for anime and games. He once went to another world with his classmates. After coming back, he got involved again with Yogiri Takatou and Tomochika Dannoura. Even though he isn't good at fighting, he has amazing healing skills that can fix any wound in an instant, even his own lost arms. He often acts like the “straight man” when others do silly things and sometimes makes otaku-style comments that annoy people. Despite his not-so-nice plans, he survives a dangerous meeting with Yogiri and keeps showing up until the end of the story. In the end, he loses his powerful abilities, but thanks to the god of the other world, he can return home safely.

On the way back to the bus, Daimon Hanakawa and his classmates, who were all summoned to another world before, tried to attack Yogiri Takatou and Tomochika Dannoura who survived.

Witnessing a Friend’s Death
Hanakawa saw one of his friends die in front of him and learned how scary Yogiri Takatou’s power really is.
Even though he tried to hurt Yogiri, he wasn't killed and was only kicked out of the group.
Chased by Many
Hanakawa becomes a target for different people and groups.
They think he knows important secrets about Yogiri’s abilities.
The End of His Cheat Power
When still in the other world later in the story, Hanakawa loses all his special powers.
The god of the other world takes away his cheat abilities.
But the god also allows him to return home safely as an act of kindness.
In the anime, some of his creepy lines from the web novel and manga are removed, and he acts more normal.
His powers prove he really did help defeat the Demon King in the past, not just boasting.
