As a former exorcist officer now working as a cram school instructor, he is in charge of third-year practical training, especially taking an active role in Touji Ato's training. His attentiveness goes beyond that of an ordinary teacher—he even arranges for the students to have access to the Exorcist Bureau's training facilities, acting like an older brother to them. His nephew Kenichi works in the General Affairs Department of the Onmyo Agency, showing the strength of his family bonds. When Miyo Kurahashi resigned as headmaster of the Onmyo Prep School, Fujiwara resigned as an instructor at the same time. However, his presence remains significant, as he continues to provide necessary supplies to Tenma Momoe and Touji Ato in the second part of the story. In the anime, there's a memorable scene in which he comes with Miyo Kurahashi to help the injured Tenma Momoe, strongly conveying his kindness and the depth of his care for his companions. Fujiwara is depicted not just as a mentor, but as a genuine hero with a caring heart for those around him.
