Chinatsu Yoshikawa

At 13 years old and in her first year of middle school, she wears her fluffy pink hair in twintails tied with red paper lanterns. She likes the nickname "Chīna," given by Akari, and has adopted it herself. She has an older sister named Tomoko. Although Chīna appears cute in public, she hides her calculating nature and often unwittingly reveals her bad attitude and words, leading to frequent troubles.

Influenced by her sister Tomoko, Chīna aspired to join the tea ceremony club but discovers it has been disbanded upon visiting the tea room. However, her resemblance to a popular character, Mirakurun, endears her to Kyōko, who forcibly recruits her into the entertainment club.

Initially terrified of Kyōko, Chīna falls in love with Yui, who protected her from Kyōko, and continues to pursue her passionately, displaying a genuine yuri crush.

Her artistic sense is generally lacking, and whenever she creates something, it shockingly surprises those around her. Despite being terrified of horror movies and videos, Chīna remains blissfully unaware of the creepiness of her own creations, even considering them well-crafted.

In the second volume of the original work, despite being a main character, Chīna ranks lowest in a popularity poll. There are also multiple scenes depicting Yui withdrawing from Chīna's intense advances, such as when she is used as a practice subject for kissing.

Rumi Okubo, who voices Chīna in the anime, describes her character’s actions as "intense yuri" that doesn’t fit the chill theme of the show.
