Yasu

Yasu has blue hair with yellow streaks and bangs that cover the right side of his face. His hair is arranged in spikes on both sides with three little yellow tufts at the back near the base of his neck. His myumon form has only one ahoge while his human form has it in two. He has small, gold stud earrings on each ear. His tail is made up of three stylized feathers that are blue with yellow streaks. His eyes are gold and are shaded with a blueish-purple.

He typically wears a blue T-shirt that shows his midriff and wears a black gakuran jacket with gold on the collar and trim along the edges. He also has two gold emblems on both sleeves and one large emblem on the back of the jacket that resembles a sun. He wears black skinny jeans with 3 jagged lightning bolts on the right and a yellow belt with 3 gold feathers dangling from it. Yasu's right arm and hand are bandaged while he wears a black fingerless glove on his left. His shoes are black loafers with yellow soles.

Yasu is a quiet boy who doesn't like to involve himself into trouble, but it always finds seems to him. He can be broody and irritable; he frequently refers to things as "annoying." Despite his standoffish nature, he has a softer side and cares deeply for his friends even though he tries to hide it under a cool and uncaring facade. He seems to worry a lot over Joe and is always quick to run to his aid when something happens.

He is very private and has a habit of trying to solve problems on his own without relying on others. He also likes to have time to himself to think and doesn't like when he's interrupted. During school, he eats lunch during third period so he can nap during lunch. Before bed, he spends a few hours looking at the sky while coming up with lyrics.

Because he was raised alone by his mom, he has a strong attachment to her and is very devoted helping her run the shop. He even spends a few hours before school helping prepare bentos and helps with deliveries between school and studio practice. Under the threat of being expelled from school, Yasu's main concern is being unable to face his mom. He can be impulsive when it comes to her and the bento shop, and has gone as far as trying to quit the band a few times to have more time to support her.

Yasu seems to have difficulty recognizing people. When he first met Hachin again in high school after three years, he didn't recognize him at first despite being childhood friends. He also didn't realize Principal Yudasu was the same person as Yudas Jinbabue when he tried to recruit him as an idol even though the rest of the band knew right away.

• He wears a customized version of his school uniform that was purchased at Appuru, a specialty store for DOkonjo North High School students. His mom kept repairing it because it kept getting torn in fights, and it eventually became a unique design.
