Introduction

Edit
Driver to gunner. Daughter of the head of the Isuzu School of Ikebana, she has long straight black hair and arranges flowers daily as part of her routine, embodying the traditional Japanese beauty. She exudes a refined and old-fashioned aura, using "watashi" as her personal pronoun, and has a gentle demeanor and a chivalrous spirit, along with a tough side. She has always questioned her graceful and delicate ikebana, preferring the dynamic and active Sensha-do, and is eager to incorporate its strength into her flower arranging.
Saori and Mako were friends from middle school, and they were already friends before Miho transferred to their school. Saori, who often talks about romance and gets proverbs wrong, receives pointed corrections from her.
She shows a strong will by clearly expressing her intentions to her mother and also displays fearless courage.
The flowers she arranges are described by her mother as "lovely and refined" according to the Isuzu School, but she is almost disowned by her mother who despises the crude Sensha-do. However, she reconciles with her mother after being recognized for breaking new ground in ikebana through Sensha-do [ep 4].
She is extremely sensitive to smells, able to distinguish the faint scent of metal and oil from tanks mixed with the smell of trees and flowers [ep 3]. She handles ikebana scissors as if they were her own limbs, but is inexperienced with other blades like knives and is terrible at cooking. She is also somewhat insensitive. Among the members of the Anglerfish Team, she is the tallest and has a slim figure, but contrary to her appearance, she is a big eater, often having heaping portions at meals and preferring hearty side dishes.
She uses her concentration developed through ikebana in shooting, leading her school to victory with a decisive shot.
Ozaki revealed that during the initial dubbing of the TV series, sound director Miwa Iwanami had instructed her not to be too prominent in her performance.
