Miho Nishizumi

西住 みほ(にしずみ みほ), Miho Nishizumi, 西住美穗
Gender: Female
Original Name: 西住 みほ(にしずみ みほ)

Introduction

Edit
The protagonist of the anime and manga "Little Army." She serves as a loader and radio operator, later becoming the tank commander. She is the only experienced tank practitioner at Oarai Girls Academy and is entrusted with planning strategies as the team captain of the tankery team, although she is not good at driving. Her family runs the Nishizumi-style tankery, and her older sister, Maho Nishizumi, attends Kuromorimine Girls Academy. She is a fan of "Boko the Bear."
Normally shy and somewhat slow, she excels in tankery due to her experience, showing bold actions, the ability to strategize based on terrain and the status of friend and foe, and the ability to adapt her tactics flexibly without being confined to conventional forms. Her sister Maho highly regards her for these qualities. She also has a unique sensibility, remembering the birthdays of all her classmates to make friends anytime and using onomatopoeia in naming strategies. When commanding, she often leans out from the commander's cupola to gather information, even under fire.
Her inherent kindness is also shown in tankery, where she never abandons the stragglers and unites her team at Oarai Girls Academy to aim for victory, embodying the spirit of a leader. While at Kuromorimine Girls Academy, she devoted herself to tankery to live up to her family's name and meet her mother and sister's expectations. However, fighting alongside her new friends at Oarai, she learns the importance of trusting her teammates and grows, discovering her own style of tankery distinct from the Nishizumi style, becoming the pillar of the team, and leading Oarai to victory by defeating her sister in a one-on-one battle.
For Fuchigami, this character was the first protagonist she played. Fuchigami recalls having no skills during the TV series era and did her best at that time. She approached the dubbing naturally without changing her acting deliberately from the TV series during the movie era.
At "AnimeJapan 2019," she ranked fourth in the second fan voting of "Girls & Panzer: Tankery, March!"
