Student council president of Suginami Second High School. A regular second-place holder in national academic mock tests. A close friend and rival of Sudo. Respected for his brilliance in both academics and sports, yet he possesses a mysterious aura. It's hard to guess what he's thinking. In Part 1, he wasn't living in Tokyo and died on the second day of the test run but was resurrected with the efforts of Shin and others like Saneatsu and Ryuta. He later took on the role of the team's brains. He had not revealed to his team that he actually possessed the powers of "Guidance" and "Stop". Using the Stop Power, he saved Sudo, Saaya, and others, who were believed to be dead. After defeating the Emperor, he went missing for a while but was independently acting, resurrecting Sudo and Kazuhiko while searching for their bodies. Although he received an offer to join the queen, he refused and instead captured Mutsumi to extract information, and intervened in the queen's plans by recruiting knights, Riri and others. Like Sudo, he has a very strong willpower, and thus does not go insane, instantly reviving. He is cousins with Mariya Kisaragi, Teppei Yoshii, and Haruto Yanagi. As a hobby, he carries a fire-resistant cloak and bizarrely studies medicine.

Ranked high in multiple events such as Icon Present Plan 3rd place, Character Popularity Vote 2nd place, GANMA! General Election (2018) 3rd place, GANMA! General Election (2019) 1st place.

In 8-panel comics, he mainly takes on 7 panels with Sudo, making statements that seem inhuman.
