Riku Dola

He was a human during the Great War and led a settlement of just under 2,000 people at the time. His appearance is similar to Sora's.

His hometown was destroyed by a stray shot during a battle between the Dragonia and the Ex-Machina, resulting in the loss of his parents. He later reached a settlement where Coroné was, but that settlement was also destroyed. Due to his mature judgment immediately after, he was appointed the leader of a settlement of over 1,000 people at the young age of 13.

In order to ensure the survival of 2,000 people, he ordered 48 of his comrades to their deaths, a decision that caused him daily anguish due to its inherent contradiction. He usually hides his true feelings and forms a false self to cope, but he lets his emotions explode only in his own room.

Schwi exposed his true feelings (not wanting anyone to die), and together with Schwi and the "ghosts," he devised a grand scheme to end the Great War. After deciding to end the war, he proposed to Schwi, resulting in what is likely the first interspecies marriage in history.

Ultimately, he pierced the core of the star, sacrificing Schwi in the process, to bring forth the "Star Grail" and end the war. However, Riku himself disappeared in the aftermath. Tet considers Riku and Schwi to be much stronger than the current "Blank" (considering that "Blank" managed to bring a real-life game to a "draw" that they had put on hold).

The difference between him and Sora is that Riku possesses the adult trait of "deceiving even himself." Because he has both adult and childlike aspects, he surpasses Sora, but this also means he ends up lying to one side of himself, leading to his death with lingering regrets at the end of the war.

Additionally, Riku was obsessed with "living coolly" until the end, whereas Sora fundamentally aims to "live as uncool as possible" from the start, creating a contrast between the two.
