Aquamarine Hoshino

The protagonist of this work, standing at 172 cm, is the reincarnation of Goro Amemiya, a passionate fan and the attending doctor at Ai's birth, as Ai Hoshino's son. He is Ruby's twin brother. His stage name was "Aqua" during his child actor days, and he resumed his entertainment activities as "Hoshino Aqua" just before entering high school. He is almost never called by his real name. The alphabet notation of "Aqua" is originally "AKUA," but he uses the English notation "AQUA" in his entertainment activities. He inherits a starlight in his right eye from his mother.

He possesses memories of his past life and was able to converse as a baby. As a toddler, he was favored by Director Gotanda at a filming site and debuted as a child actor with Ichigo Production. His mental maturity is beyond his physical age due to his memories from his past life, but his physical age also strongly affects his mental state, causing him to worry about his own emotional state.

His acting skills are average, but he utilizes his high communication skills and quick thinking in his performances. He inherits his previous life's knowledge and academic abilities, achieving an academic aptitude score of over 70 during high school entrance exams.

In Chapter 2, he becomes calm, dry, and unsociable, but he can subtly care for others. He is also overly protective of his sister, often being called a "siscon." He enrolls in the general course at Yohigashi High School to accompany his sister.

Believing he lacks talent, he gives up acting and decides to work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, assisting Director Gotanda in film production. However, he is invited by Kana to act in the drama "Today is Sweet," playing a stalker role because the producer might be his father.

In the prologue (Chapter 1), he suspects his real father is involved in a major incident and vows revenge. Suspecting his father is in the entertainment industry due to Ai's limited social connections, he works under Gotanda while spending four years cracking the passcode of a smartphone left by Ai. He continues genetic testing with people who had connections with Ai and discovers that Daiki Himekawa is his half-brother, but learns that his father, Kiyoshiro Uehara, has already died. Believing his revenge is complete, he starts seeking "ordinary happiness," but upon reuniting with Ichigo, he learns that Kiyoshiro Uehara could not have been the culprit and that his revenge is not yet complete. Through Akane, he learns about his real father and the target of his revenge, Kamiki Hikaru, and decides to sacrifice everything for revenge. In Chapter 8, as part of a scandal involving Kana, he publicly reveals that he and Ruby are Ai's children, and simultaneously launches a movie project "15 Years of Lies" for his revenge against Kamiki.
