Banshee

A fairy who serves noble families. The Banshee Paul Ferman encountered served Gladys as the Banshee of the Blue Knight Earl family. Her tears turn into amber, but if the amber is formed from tears foreseeing the death of someone in the family, it cannot burn. A Banshee has the ability to avert a death prophecy once by sacrificing her own life. She fulfilled this role in place of Edgar J. C. Ashenbert. Just before her life ended, she gave Edgar the key to Iblazell, but this key was invisible to both Edgar and Lydia Ashenbert.
