Charlotte

Her real name is Charlotte, in Italian it's Carlotta, and Lota is her nickname. She has long coffee-colored hair tied into a ponytail with a rope. She was a princess of the Duchy of Cremona, which collapsed during her grandfather's time. When she was three years old, the ship carrying her and her parents to America was wrecked. She was the only one saved by pirates and was raised as their daughter. Perhaps because of this, she has a tomboyish temperament, is knowledgeable about sailing, and even now, living as the granddaughter of the Grand Duke after reuniting with her grandfather, her basic style hasn't changed.

She met Edgar when he was calling himself "Sir John" in America. They are fundamentally incompatible, and whenever they meet, they exchange harsh words, but she acknowledges his qualities as a leader.
