Gon's foster parent. Born on September 7th. She is Ging's cousin and Gon's aunt. Although she has a strong personality, she is kind at heart and raised Gon as if she were his real mother. Together with her grandmother (Gon's great-grandmother), she runs a small liquor store on Whale Island. She won custody of Gon in court from Ging and raised him on her own. In her childhood, due to the small number of children on the island, she often sought Ging's attention. She was initially opposed to Gon becoming a Hunter, and even after Gon passed the exam and returned home, she continued to wish to live with him. However, upon realizing that Gon adored her as if she were his real mother, she provided him with clues about Ging that she had kept hidden until then. When Gon returned home, she warmly welcomed Killua, who was accompanying him, and Killua also admired her as an ideal mother figure. She dislikes killing.
