A third-year WS and the vice-captain of the Shiratorizawa Academy High School Volleyball team. He wears jersey number 4. While not as good as Ushijima, he is a powerful spiker who can spike from above the block and also possesses high-level receiving skills. He has a high regard for Sawamura. Due to his appearance, he has been nicknamed "Benkei" by Hinata internally. He feels apologetic about the gap between his appearance and his name. After graduating from high school, he works for a sports manufacturer and plays as an OH for the Kin'iro Sports Jumpers in V.League Division 3.
