White Queen

White Queen looks nothing like Kurumi Tokisaki, the main character of the original series. She has white hair and wears a white military uniform. Her left eye shows a blue clock face. Unlike Kurumi's gothic black dress and dark hair, White Queen's figure is bright and striking. This makes her easily recognized and very different from her counterpart.

White Queen's mind is greatly broken. She often says things that contradict each other, like "I love everyone, but I don't love anyone," or "I want to kill and not kill." She trusts no one, not even her own allies among the quasi-spirits. Instead, she has several different personalities inside her, each with its own role, like the "General" for battles, the "Lady" for winning people over, "Executioner" for killing, "Agent" for spying, "Politician" for commanding her pawns, and "Overlord" as the main self. These make her both unpredictable and dangerous.

White Queen is not truly Kurumi Tokisaki's inverted self. She was created when Kurumi, in a moment of despair after realizing she had killed her best friend Saaya Yamauchi without knowing, briefly flipped to her dark side. Using her power, Kurumi erased that moment, but a split version of the "inverted Kurumi" was accidentally created through another of her powers. Kurumi quickly disposed of this copy, but it fell into a hole that leads to the Neighboring World. There, the copy's body merged with Saaya Yamauchi's soul, creating White Queen—an entity born from despair and anger at Kurumi herself.

White Queen’s weapon is called "Lukifugus," a short gun combined with a military saber and gears, which she can pull from a clock face.

Her abilities are all about controlling space, unlike Kurumi's time powers. The moves are named after the twelve zodiac signs and marked on the clock dial.

• Aries Bullet: Unknown effect.
• Taurus Sword: Super-speed stabbing attack.
• Gemini Bullet: Makes a weakened copy of herself.
• Cancer Sword: Sends two slashes through space to trap targets.
• Leo Bullet: Erases part of space with a bullet.
• Virgo Sword: Creates illusions.
• Libra Bullet: Reverses cause and effect inside a space; can swap positions in an instant.
• Scorpio Bullet: Builds sub-personalities; can mark others to make them her pawns (called "Rooks") or even "Bishops."
• Sagittarius Sword: Her trump card; fires at Mach 10+ and can erase an entire Domain.
• Capricorn Bullet: Unknown effect.
• Aquarius Bullet: Gives extreme healing to an area.
• Pisces Bullet: Unknown effect.

She can also create a combined move from her and Kurumi’s powers called the "Eighth and Scorpion Bullet."

The Ruler of the Third Domain

White Queen appears as the ruler of the Third Domain (Binah) in "Date A Bullet." She is supposed to be someone Kurumi Tokisaki could never meet—her theoretical inverted self. While Kurumi is known for her black hair and gothic look, White Queen stands in white uniform with white hair and a cold, blue-eyed stare.

A Broken Mind and Many Faces

White Queen does not trust anyone, including her own quasi-spirits. To make up for this, she keeps several personalities within herself, each set to do a different job. She can act as a fighter, leader, manipulator, spy, or executioner, switching her mind’s role as needed.

Mysterious Goal

She plans to sacrifice the Neighboring World to open a door to the real world and welcome "the King." However, her plans and true motives are clouded by her strange and broken mental state.

Shocking Origins

Deep down, White Queen is not just Kurumi's shadow. She is the result of an accident: when Kurumi used her powers to erase her own despair, a tiny chance made a copy of her "inverted self." Kurumi killed that copy, but it fell into the Neighboring World, where it ran into the wandering soul of Saaya Yamauchi—Kurumi’s friend whom she had unknowingly killed. They merged, creating White Queen, a being full of hate and sorrow toward Kurumi.
