She often accompanies Neon on shopping trips and other outings, functioning as both staff and escort.

She is emotionally invested in her personal life as well, as she is in a romantic relationship with Squala.

Together, Eliza and Squala dream of quitting their current work and starting a new life away from the Nostrade Family’s world.

Eliza is caring and loyal, but also has her own limits and frustrations.

While she genuinely likes Neon, she does not always appreciate being dragged around or taken for granted.

Relationship with Neon Nostrade

Eliza serves Neon Nostrade closely, handling her day‑to‑day needs.

She stays by Neon's side for tasks like shopping and general personal care, showing a mix of duty, affection, and exasperation.

In the second anime adaptation, Eliza’s feelings are shown with more nuance.

She clearly cares for Neon, but she is not entirely happy about constantly being at the mercy of Neon's whims and mood swings.

Relationship with Squala

Eliza is the lover of Squala, a bodyguard who works for the Nostrade Family.

First Anime Adaptation

In the first Hunter × Hunter anime series, Eliza appears as Neon’s maid as usual.

Additionally, another maid colleague of Eliza is introduced in this version, expanding the look at Neon's household staff.

This colleague maid is voiced by Junko Takeuchi, who also voices Gon Freecss in the same series.

The dual role showcases the voice actor’s range and adds a small meta detail for fans.

Second Anime Adaptation

In the second anime adaptation, Eliza’s attitude toward Neon is portrayed with more clarity.

She is shown to genuinely like Neon as a person, not just as an employer.
