Ayaka Kirisaki is a dangerous and skilled spy known as the "Man Hunter," but she actually dislikes her nickname. She is obsessed with Taiyo Asano and is famous for her extreme yandere behavior and deadly skills with poisoned needles. After falling for both Taiyo and Mutsumi Yozakura, Ayaka forces her way into the Yozakura Family mansion as a maid and secretary. Despite her dark past, she becomes part of the family and even learns about real love and belonging.
Ayaka has the look of a typical teenage girl, but her eyes are sharp and intense. She often dresses in maid outfits while living with the Yozakura Family. Besides her regular clothes, she carries many hidden needles, her main weapon. She is good at blending in during missions thanks to her spy skills.
Ayaka is a classic yandere, which means she acts sweet and loving but is also dangerous and obsessed with people she likes. She can be incredibly clingy and stalker-like, using her spy techniques to follow her crushes everywhere. Ayaka is also a bit of a psychopath and doesn’t hesitate to use deadly force if she feels it’s needed. Still, she is surprisingly good at housework and loves cleaning (including “cleaning up” people). Her personality becomes a little more normal around most people in the mansion, except for Taiyo and Mutsumi, who remain her favorite targets.
Ayaka earned her title "Man Hunter" because she always stalked and eventually killed the people she fell for, using her amazing talents as a spy and assassin. She was voted "Spy You Don’t Want as a Girlfriend" three years in a row in the spy world. After stumbling onto Taiyo’s picture online, she fell in love and transferred to his school with the goal of killing him, all while competing with Mutsumi who she later falls for as well.
Ayaka is a pro at tailing, stalking, and assassinating people. Her weapon of choice is the "Hell Needles," hundreds of tiny needles dipped in all kinds of poisons she carries everywhere. She can even hypnotize people with some of her specially treated needles. Her cleaning skills are top-notch, and she has learned all kinds of household tasks from doing undercover missions in people's homes.
- Taiyo Asano: She is deeply obsessed with Taiyo, following him everywhere and trying to win his love through extreme and dangerous methods.
- Mutsumi Yozakura: After being saved by Mutsumi, Ayaka becomes just as obsessed with her as she is with Taiyo. Unlike with Taiyo, she never tries to harm Mutsumi.
- The Yozakura Family: Despite her crazy ways, the family mostly accepts her. She even becomes their maid and secretary, has her own set of rooms in the mansion, and is trusted to help with family tasks.
- Shinzo Yozakura: She spends time with Shinzo, helping him with weapon designs and shopping, though their relationship stays unclear because Shinzo is extremely shy.
- Alpha Yozakura & Hifumi Yozakura: She cares for them deeply and refers to them with affectionate titles.
- Ai: She gets along well with Ai and is willing to go to extremes to see the people she cares for.
The "Man Hunter" Arrives
Ayaka sees Taiyo online and transfers to his school, planning to kill him. She uses her spy skills to stalk him and tries to remove Mutsumi, who she sees as a rival. However, Taiyo always manages to avoid her traps.
Falling for Mutsumi
One day, when Ayaka is in danger, Mutsumi saves her. This moment changes everything for Ayaka. She falls for Mutsumi, too, and discovers her bisexual side, but never feels the urge to harm her.
Becoming Part of the Family
As other spies target Taiyo, Ayaka can’t stand the thought of anyone else killing him. She joins the Yozakura Family as a maid and goes from being an enemy to a strong, if odd, ally. Living with the family helps her learn about love and belonging.
Life at the Mansion
Ayaka starts living in the mansion, borrowing one room and then a second when she fills the first with Taiyo and Mutsumi’s photos. She gets involved in regular family life, buys gifts for the others, and even gets into daytime dramas, causing playful trouble.
The Big Attack and Later Events
When the Yozakura mansion is attacked, the family keeps Ayaka away due to worries for her safety, so she misses the action. She shows up again later, encountering a baby version of Taiyo, which makes her faint from happiness. In bonus stories, Ayaka tries to help during emergencies and feels sad when left out but gets comforted by Ban and Keiko Yozakura.
Supporting in Big Battles
When the family faces their big enemy, Dandelion, Ayaka joins the backup team. She helps Keiko with her shooting skills and plays an important support role.
Five Years Later
In the story’s later timeline, Ayaka is still with the Yozakura Family and is now considered a core member. She looks after Alpha and Hifumi, calls them by cute titles, and is extremely fond of them. When Alpha and Hifumi transfer schools, Ayaka and Ai even plan to swim after them out of concern.
- Ayaka’s signature phrase is “I love you. Please die...!”
- Her strange ideas often come from watching too many daytime dramas.
- She hates her nickname “Man Hunter.”
- She once nearly filled an entire room with photos of Taiyo and Mutsumi.
“I love you. Please die...!”
Ayaka Kirisaki, with her wild obsession, deadly skills, and unexpectedly cute habits, brings both danger and laughter to Mission: Yozakura Family. She teaches everyone a bit about what it means to be loved—even if her way is a little scary.
