A mysterious man who appears in the cafeteria of Toudaka University. A former competitive swimmer, he now coaches swimming both domestically and internationally. Due to the impressive progress of the athletes he trains, he is known as "Ryuji the Peak" and "Ryuji the Extra." He is an alumnus of Iwatobi High School. He dislikes mackerel.
