Reiji Mochida

Reiji attended Meiko Junior High School, where he was teammates with Shigehiro Ogiwara. During his third year, he became the basketball team captain. After graduating from junior high, he advanced to his first year of high school.

He played as a shooting guard (SG) on the basketball team, showing strong skills in shooting and teamwork.

Reiji was very close to Shigehiro Ogiwara and often spent time with him both on and off the court. He called Ogiwara “Mocchi,” showing their close friendship.

Reiji played on the Meiko Junior High basketball team and became the captain in his third year. He led his team with care and responsibility.

During an important tournament, the team lost badly to Teiko Junior High. This loss affected Reiji and his teammates deeply.

Support for Kuroko

After the defeat, Reiji talked to Tetsuya Kuroko about Ogiwara and gave him Ogiwara’s wristband as a symbol of support. This helped encourage Kuroko to keep trying hard.
