Miledi Reisen is a truly unforgettable character from "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest." She is known for her genius with gravity magic and her extremely annoying, teasing personality. As the leader of the Liberators and the master of Raisen Great Labyrinth, she is a key figure in the fight against the gods. Miledi stands out as the only one who survives by placing her soul inside a golem, waiting thousands of years to guide and challenge new heroes. Her brave and emotional story, full of laughter and tears, makes her impossible to forget.
Miledi Reisen is described as a beautiful girl with blonde hair tied in a ponytail.
She appears to be about 15 or 16 years old.
When in her golem form inside the labyrith, her main body is a child-like golem with a smiley-face (like a cartoon smile), but she can also control a giant armored golem during fights.
Miledi is famous for her extremely annoying, mischievous, and pushy attitude.
She loves to tease and play tricks on others, often making everyone around her frustrated or even angry.
But, she wasn't always like this.
She became like this after many hardships and the influence of her close friend Belle.
Deep inside, Miledi is very kind and carries a lot of sadness because she lost all her precious friends a long time ago.
Still, she continues to care for others and does her best to help the heroes of the future.
Origin
Miledi was born into the Reisen family, noble rulers who controlled the Reisen Grand Canyon and the prison there.
She awoke her gravity magic at a young age and was forced to use it to execute prisoners by throwing them into the canyon.
Many of these prisoners were people who the church treated unfairly.
Meeting Belle
Her life changed after meeting Belle, a mysterious woman who became her maid and teacher.
Belle brought back lost feelings and laughs to Miledi's life.
But Belle was secretly a leader of the Liberators, a rebel group.
After Belle is discovered, she is killed, and Miledi, driven by grief and anger, destroys her own family and takes up Belle's wish to fight against the cruel god Ehit.
She then became the leader of the Liberators.
Miledi is a regular human, but her skill with gravity magic is so strong she can easily surpass Yue in this art.
She is the original owner of “Gravity Magic,” one of the powerful Ancient Magics.
She is also the only Liberator whose soul remained by transferring it into a golem, allowing her to live for thousands of years.
When fighting, she can control countless golem knights at once and operate a gigantic, armored golem body for battle.
- Oscar Orcus: Fellow Liberator, close friend, possible love interest.
- Belle: Her mentor and like an elder sister, whose death deeply changed Miledi’s life.
- The other Liberators: Comrades she lost in the fight against the god.
- Hajime Nagumo, Yue, Shia Haulia: The main heroes who challenge her labyrinth and later gain her deep respect.
- Her golem form has a smiley face and a child-sized body.
- Inside the labyrinth, she leaves annoying messages everywhere to challenge and frustrate travelers.
- She was the first human to ever defeat a god’s Apostle with gravity magic.
- Miledi is called the “ultimate annoying character,” and everyone, including Hajime and his team, got angry at her at least once.
"Everyone, it’s your favorite Miledi Reisen~!"
"Welcome! To Miledi Reisen’s thrilling and exciting Great Labyrinth!"
"Hey, how do you feel now? After working so hard, only to find out you’re back at the start? Tell me, tell me, how does it feel?"
"Oh, by the way, this labyrinth changes every now and then. Miledi-chan just wants you to always feel fresh and excited! Aren’t you happy? You’re happy, right?"
"Throw me away? Try it if you can!"
"Welcome home! Will you have dinner? A bath? Or... Miledi-tan~?"
"Will you change the world with me?"
"Uh, going straight to the bottom of hell is kind of too much. I get Oscar is head over heels for Miledi-chan, but yandere stuff isn’t my thing~"
"I couldn’t save the world or everyone else. I could only trust the future to someone else. I’ve waited for this, for so, so long. Now, here, at this moment, using all my power for people... that's why I kept going all this time."
"I get to use this leftover life for the people, just like I promised. Thanks to you all... I can finally join my friends in peace."
"Everyone, I’m hoooome!!"
Miledi and Her Labyrinth
In the present, Miledi appears in the deepest part of the Reisen Great Labyrinth as a huge golem leading an army of golem knights, all controlled by her real, small golem body.
She tests Hajime Nagumo and his friends with her tricky labyrinth and gravity magic, finally passing on gravity magic and secrets about the other ancient labyrinths to them.
Her messages and jokes throughout the labyrinth drive everyone crazy, making her famous as the most annoying guardian ever.
Her Hard Past
Miledi wasn’t always so annoying.
As a child, she just did her job as an executioner, thinking the world was fair.
After hearing a prisoner’s last words about wishing for a world where children can smile, she started doubting her actions.
Meeting Belle, who was also a secret Liberator leader, changed her heart and showed her true feelings.
When Belle was found out, Miledi's father executed Belle before Miledi could save her.
Sad and angry, Miledi declared war against her own family, destroyed them, and joined the Liberators to fight the god Ehit.
The Liberators
Miledi joined Oscar Orcus and others, traveling the world to recruit friends who could wield “Ancient Magic.”
Finally, seven Liberators came together, but their fight against Ehit ended in tragedy.
Miledi was the only one who survived by moving her soul into a golem’s body.
Before defeat, they built the ancient labyrinths to test future heroes and keep their magic alive for the next generation.
The Last Liberator
In the final battle against Ehit, Miledi uses up almost all her magical power to help Hajime Nagumo and his friends.
When Hajime and Yue are trapped in the collapsing divine realm, Miledi rushes in one last time to save them, sacrificing herself by creating a black hole to destroy the realm and protect the world below.
Her last moments are emotional, transforming back into her human form to say goodbye, and meeting the spirits of her old friends as she disappears with a bright, annoying smile.
A Bittersweet Rebirth
After her death, the truth about the Liberators becomes known, and their honor is restored as heroes.
In another world, far into the future, a girl in an orphanage meets a young nobleman—Oscar Orcus reborn.
As they meet again, their memories return, and Miledi begins a new, happier life together with him.
- In the official books, Miledi is said to have reincarnated somewhere in another world after her sacrifice.
- She earns respect from even Hajime and Yue, despite her annoying habits, by showing bravery, kindness, and loyalty that lasts across centuries.
