Lime became upset when Patrick’s company kept taking beginner adventurer jobs for themselves, making it hard for new adventurers to get started.

To get back at Patrick, he joined up with someone who could cast a magical illness (a curse) on Patrick’s family.

Lime was tricked into believing the curse would only make them sleep for a few years.

He later found out the truth, which shocked him.

After admitting his mistakes and facing defeat, Lime changed and found a new way forward.

Lime Latte reached an impressive adventurer level of 201, making him very strong compared to most humans.

He is skilled enough to be trusted with secret missions and to serve as an undercover agent or spy for Tomoe Misumi.

After a critical event, Lime was given some of Tomoe’s blood and flesh, changing him from a regular human to her subordinate (servant), gaining even more unique abilities.

Right when Lime thought he could stop Makoto Misumi from solving the curse, Makoto and his companions, Tomoe and Mio Misumi, defeated Lime and his team with ease.

Realization and Change

After being beaten by Tomoe, Lime found out the truth—the curse was actually deadly.

Tomoe read his mind and saw that he wasn’t fully aware of what he’d done.

Because Lime had been misled, Makoto decided to forgive him.

Later, Lime visited Patrick Rembrandt for days to apologize.

With Makoto’s help, they agreed that Lime would retire from being an adventurer as punishment, which allowed them to make up.

Becoming Tomoe’s Spy

Lost about what to do next, Lime was given a special sword (a Japanese katana, made by Eldwa) by Tomoe.

She offered to train him and asked him to become her secret agent.

Lime agreed to work undercover for Tomoe, while posing as an employee at the Kuzunoha Company.

Encounter with Tomoki Iwahashi and Transformation

Later, Lime faced Tomoki Iwahashi, the Hero of Gritonia, whose “Charm” ability caught Lime off guard.

Lime was badly hurt in this encounter.

He wanted to die, but Shiki Misumi convinced him to keep living.

Tomoe then shared her blood and flesh with Lime, making him her subordinate and changing him beyond being just human.

Helping Hibiki Otonashi

While investigating, Lime worked alongside Hibiki Otonashi and her party from Limia.

Through this, he gained their trust and helped with their missions.
