Lord Mask

Full name is On Zoa Nebulis. A man in a black suit wearing a mask. He is a radical and hawkish representative of the imperial court, serving as the acting head and strategist of the pure-blooded Zoa family of Nebulis. He harbors a demon spirit of the "door" that crosses spaces.

He has a gentlemanly demeanor and tone, but is insincerely polite, filled with intense hostility and resentment towards the empire, openly criticizing the current queen's regime as too lenient and unabashedly declaring that a full-scale war with the empire is the true wish of the astral spirit users, embodying the hatred of the imperial court. Furthermore, his astral mark resides in the same eye as his niece, Kissing.

Rich in schemes and cunning, he infiltrates spies like Shanorotte from the imperial military academy to the rank of captain, employing long-term and cautious strategies, and excels in surprise and ambush attacks due to the characteristics of the aforementioned astral spirit.

However, his excessive grudges lead him to immediately declare betrayal without listening to any explanations when Sisbell tries to invite Iska, an imperial soldier, even considering him a political enemy, and his irrational judgments and actions are evident in his excessive resentment when dealing with enemies, leading Jhin to critique him as "not stupid, but the type whose mind runs idle."

While intelligent, rational, and possessing clear analytical skills, he ultimately prioritizes irrational grudges, as seen when he immediately advocates for retaliation after the imperial court attack, despite the nation being exhausted.

Falsely accused of bombing the queen's quarters due to Iriertia's scheming, he is temporarily detained, yet he sees this as an opportunity for the Zoa family to rise rapidly.

During the imperial court attack, he confronts Risha, exchanging blades while probing each other's intentions.

After the conflict ends and the head of the family, Growly, becomes a prisoner, he seizes the moment to criticize the queen's absence, but steps back, realizing the disadvantage of the head's absence. In subsequent meetings, he proposes a total attack on the empire and even suggests the revival of the progenitor as a new leader. The queen rejects this, citing the unestablished method of awakening and the tyranny in neutral cities, but he schemes to awaken the progenitor secretly.

Although not certain, he also suspects Hydra's betrayal and blatantly intimidates them by hinting at the progenitor's awakening.

Judging it an opportune moment to overthrow the empire as the progenitor Nebulis awakens and heads towards the empire, he leads the elite of the Zoa family, including Kissing, in an attack on the empire, but encounters Iriertia, who has transformed into a monster by absorbing a star calamity. While feeling faint pity for the transformed her, he attempts to subdue her, but falls into a coma when his mind is invaded by her evolved astral spirit of song. During this, only Kissing barely manages to protect him.
