Ravenna

Ravenna is a laid-back, naturally absentminded young woman who studies every day in hopes of becoming a nurse.

She lives alone with her mother and is portrayed as gentle, slow-paced, and strikingly oblivious.

Her forgetfulness goes far beyond ordinary absentmindedness.

She is so dense and detached that even when dramatic or bizarre events happen around her, she tends to reduce the entire day to a single diary note: “It was a peaceful day.”

She dislikes vegetables and is said to leave them uneaten.

This small habit adds to her mild and somewhat childlike image.

Ravenna is often described as a “natural” type, meaning she behaves innocently and unpredictably without trying to be funny.

Her calm rhythm makes her stand out, even though she once believed the opposite about herself.

During the Haré of Guu period, she was considered a relatively plain character.

She even said that her defining trait was “having no defining traits,” though Haré and the others disagreed with that assessment.

What makes Ravenna memorable is the contrast between her ordinary appearance and the strange situations that gather around her.

Even so, she never seems fully aware of how unusual her life can be.

Ravenna spends much of her time studying to become a nurse.

By the end of Haré+Guu, it is stated that she successfully achieved that dream and became a proper nurse.

At a later point, Gupta confesses his feelings to her.

The two eventually become a couple.

A separate branching future presents a much stranger outcome.

In that version, Ravenna desperately gives Haré the money she earned as a nurse, only for Haré to complain that the amount is not enough and nearly steer her toward shady work, creating an extremely dubious and suspicious relationship.
