Shizuka Mikazuki

The heroine of this work. An employee at a foreign financial firm. 26 years old. Height: 158 centimeters. She prioritizes risk hedging and lives logically.

When the pandemic broke out, she watched over 100 zombie movies for research and created a list titled "100 Things to Do to Avoid Becoming a Zombie." She meets Akira at a convenience store while gathering supplies, and when he suggests exchanging LINE contacts, she dismisses him, saying, "There's no benefit in forming an alliance with someone who can't even hedge risks properly."

Later, when she reunites with Akira and sees him helping her, a "complete stranger," she scolds him, saying, "You're putting your 'important person' (Kencho) in danger by trying to help a 'complete stranger' like me." However, Akira responds, "You're already an 'important person' to me too," and she agrees to exchange LINE contacts. They meet again and end up heading to Akira's family home together.

Her father (voiced by Naoya Uchida) is a ruthless financier who built a large corporation from scratch. Since childhood, he repeatedly told her, "You should obey me," which led her to live by thinking only about "what should be done" rather than what she wanted to do. However, in episode 9, after seeing Akira being exploited by Kosugi, she realizes that she had been forced to abandon her "will," "freedom," "dignity," "pride," and "soul." She decides to leave the "should-do" mindset and start living by considering what she truly wants to do.
