Light Underwood

Light Underwood is the male protagonist of this series, a young boy whose childhood dream of becoming the greatest adventurer was nearly shattered when he acquired the non-combat "Bogus Skill 'Fruitmaster'". This seemingly useless skill caused his separation from his childhood friend, Lena Floria, and initially led him to a life of farming.

Since childhood, Light yearned to be an adventurer, aiming to become the greatest of all time. However, upon being granted "Bogus Skill 'Fruitmaster'", which was considered a dud in combat, his dream felt broken.

Disheartened by a skill that only boosted fruit growth and harvest yield, Light spent his days as a farmer, diligently practicing swordsmanship. His outlook changed significantly when he discovered the true power of "Bogus Skill 'Fruitmaster'", renewing his resolve to pursue an adventurer's path.

A pivotal moment occurred when his friend Ayla Lawrence accidentally used a Skills Fruit in her cooking. Light consumed it, putting him in mortal danger. Miraculously, he not only survived but also gained the formidable "Sword God" skill.

The true secret of "Bogus Skill 'Fruitmaster'" lies beyond increasing fruit growth and yield; it also grants immunity to fruit poisons. This hidden ability allowed him to circumvent the lethal effect of eating multiple Skills Fruits, making him a unique individual capable of possessing numerous skills—an otherwise impossible feat.
