Hanabōshi (Flower Hat) is the Chief Investigator of the Adventurer's Guild's Investigation Bureau, known for her unique appearance and the skill 《Book Browsing》, which allows her to peer into any information written on paper.
As her name suggests, she is characterized by a flower-adorned hat, and she has the appearance of a young girl with two braided, yellow-green strands of hair. Her primary responsibilities include investigating monster ecology, distribution, and terrain. She utilizes her skill, 《Book Browsing》, making it invaluable for various investigations.
She has a laid-back and playful personality, yet possesses strong curiosity and an insatiable desire for knowledge. A notable flaw is her tendency to become overly excited and absent-minded when encountering new information. Hanabōshi also displays a 'dirty' and severe side, willing to employ ruthless methods to achieve her goals.
Despite this, she is not affiliated with the Saint faction; instead, she acts on behalf of the Guild to prevent damage from evil dragons. She has a strong sense of justice, demonstrating rescue efforts for residents in danger. She even requested cooperation from Dratena Belbury (a capture target) and Lena Floria (who obstructed her actions).
Her keen insight and adaptability allowed her to deduce the Saint's involvement behind the Athena incident. Hanabōshi is one of the few high-ranking Guild members aware of the Saint's secrets. To uncover the Saint's true motives, she took Lena Floria and Dratena Belbury under her protection and set off to consult with her own mentor.

This skill allows her to peek at any information written on paper. When activated, a magnifying glass and a human eye appear in the palm of her left hand, which is a distinctive feature. Furthermore, if she knows the general location of the information, she can ascertain the contents of any document, even from a great distance.
While it doesn't seem combat-oriented at first glance, by accessing forbidden texts, she can utilize the secret arts sealed within them. During the story, she demonstrated the secret art "Grimoire Magic" from 48 forbidden books. When doing so, multiple books appear and float around her.
