Nyuudou Rensuke is a 17-year-old student in Class 2-3 at Hyakki Academy. He is famous for being the class president and the smartest in his grade. Rensuke is actually a one-eyed youkai (a “Hitotsume Kozou”), with a giant single eye and superhuman vision. Although he comes from a wealthy family, he struggles with housework and can be a calm, gentle leader—unless something really makes him mad! Rensuke lives with his dad, who holds a very important job in the youkai government, after his mom passed away when he was born. He finds it hard to accept his youkai appearance, especially after facing rejection from a human girl he liked. Even with these troubles, he’s a loyal friend and always looks out for his classmates.
