Asuramaru (A.K.A. Ashera Tepes) is a black demon spirit residing in Yuuichirou Hyakuya’s cursed gear in Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign. He appears as a young boy with long dark purple hair and red eyes, and his personality is playful yet mysterious. Asuramaru is originally Krul Tepes’s older brother, once a noble who lost his family, and eventually became a vampire before turning into a demon. He can form only a sword sheath, so Yuuichirou can make invisible sword slashes called "Mugen Tou" that can't be seen.
He can also use "Mugen Battou Unmei Kousaku," where lots of invisible swords attack at once.
When Asuramaru has more control, he can bend dimensions and use other high-level attacks.

Later, he ended up in Japan, sealed in the sword used by Yuuichirou Hyakuya.
Yuuichirou’s Partner
At first, Asuramaru tries to take over Yuuichirou’s body, showing him scary visions from his past.
However, Yuuichirou says he wants to be Asuramaru’s friend, which surprises him.
Soon, Asuramaru agrees to work with Yuuichirou and even shares some of his hidden powers.
Over time, through special medicine, Asuramaru slowly regains memories of his past, including Krul and their lost family.
