Auri

Auri is a red-haired male wizard who acts as the foster father to Alyssa and the honorary grandfather to Viola. Although he looks young, he claims to be about 350 years old and doesn’t worry much about his age. He is known for his wild personality, loving alcohol, gambling, and flirting with women. He lost his left eye in the past and now wears an eyepatch. Despite his many problems, including being wanted for affairs and often getting into trouble, he deeply loves Alyssa and Viola and wants to be a good parent and grandparent. His relationships with Alyssa’s friends are mixed, as his behavior makes it hard for anyone to respect him, but he still cares about them in his own way.

Auri is a handsome man with red hair and the appearance of a young adult.

He always wears an eyepatch over his left eye, which he removed himself many years ago because of some past incidents.

Auri can be called a "hopeless man" with his carefree attitude.

He loves drinking, gambling, and flirting, often creating big problems for himself and others.

Auri did his best to correct his sister’s parenting and tried to give Alyssa a more stable upbringing.

Because of his poor behavior and legal issues, he was separated from Alyssa for nearly 20 years, and only learned about Viola after that long period.

Auri is a powerful wizard, but also known for relying on physical force, sometimes acting before thinking or talking.

He is physically strong and quick to brawl if needed.

Alyssa’s Friends: Auri knows many of Alyssa's friends, but his troublesome habits make it hard to earn their respect. He likes teasing Fennel and Grinde, often drinking with them.
Anise (Fennel’s older brother): He has an especially bad relationship with Anise. After a prank set up by Anise because of Auri’s multiple romances in the Elf village, they insult each other every time they meet.

A Wild and Troubled Life

Auri is known for his wild lifestyle, filled with drinking, gambling, womanizing, and getting into trouble.

He once had an affair with a noble’s wife in another country, which led to him being put on a wanted list.

He often got arrested for drunken fights and cheating at gambling.

Separated from Family

Because of his bad behavior, when Alyssa started to raise Viola sixteen years ago, Auri was cut off from all contact to avoid being a bad influence.

Also, because he was wanted for his crimes, he had no idea Viola even existed during that time.

Reunion and Family Bonds

Even after being kept away for almost 20 years (which is not such a long time for long-living people like him), Auri is still incredibly affectionate towards Alyssa and Viola.

He sees them as his own daughter and granddaughter.
