He is a spy for the PK group, the prototype of "Laughing Coffin." He uses his beta test experience to provide information to Lind, but secretly aids Kibaou as well, orchestrating conflicts between them during quests that escalate into deadly confrontations. When Kirito, who was participating in the same quest, interfered with his plans, he challenged him to a duel, attempting to exploit system loopholes to legally PK him. However, he retreated before being discovered as Lind and Kibaou encountered each other sooner than expected.
