Shizuka Tachibana

A classmate met after entering high school. Short in height. Plays the 2nd violin. A freshman.

Has been playing the violin since the age of five. A junior to Harada, and was the president of the Kitachuu Orchestra Club. Used to play the 1st violin. Has a very strong-willed and not straightforward personality, always seeming angry, but is actually very serious and caring. Due to her personality, she initially clashed with the beginner Ritsuko Akine, and they had a strained relationship at first. As a former president, she was very observant, and clashed with Ritsuko because she was performing in a self-satisfied manner and not utilizing her true abilities, and because she saw her past self in Ritsuko's attitude. They have now become close enough to interact on social media.

In middle school, her self-satisfied attitude negatively affected her leadership as the president, inherited from the previous generation, leading to a failure in steering the club. Not only did the club miss out on consecutive gold awards, but she also faced harsh criticism and complete rejection of her methods from the club members, resulting in a painful past. Because of this, she couldn't face the former president Sakuma and spent some time avoiding him.
