Ichirō Yamada

Bright and lively with many friends, actively approaches Aono who tends to keep to himself. Excels at interpersonal balance, acting like a lubricant among peers. Often hangs out with Aono, Saeki, Akine, and Kozakura, but frequently complains about being separated during part practice due to the cello. Has been close friends with Saeki since middle school. Back then, Yamada, who had been playing the cello since childhood, was confident in his skills, but this confidence was crushed after hearing Saeki play the violin. He once considered quitting playing, but his father, who always opposed his musical pursuits, scolded him that quitting for someone else's sake was unacceptable, leading him to change his mind and continue to this day. Yamada's experience made Aono reflect on his own musical performances.
