Sayuri Iki

Sayuri is a middle-aged woman with shoulder-length brown hair that has bangs swept to the right side and light brown eyes.

Sayuri is portrayed to be quite old fashioned. In addition to being being melodramatic in personality, she holds all the traditional aspirations for her children, such as wanting Hiyori Iki to find a good husband and have a family of her own. It is largely hinted that she would not approve of Hiyori's interest in wrestling, viewing it as "barbaric" and not acceptable for a young lady.

The Iki family possesses the Sixth Sense - the ability to sense and/or see denizens from the Far Shore. According to her mother, Sayuri herself is not able to see them but she can feel their presence - she senses Yato's presence and later speaks to Hiyori Iki in her spirit form.
