Father

Father, the true sorcerer who created Yato from a single, powerful wish, appears in the story. Although he is human, he has lived for hundreds of years and possesses remarkable ruthlessness. He obtained the "Word" in Yomi and currently lives by possessing the body of "Kouto Fujisaki." His enigmatic nature is revealed through his use of Yato’s Nora and Bishamon’s Kugaha as Regalia.

In the past, Father was trampled upon by the gods and harbors deep contempt for them, as well as a strong hatred towards people who accept the gods. When he was an ordinary human, he once died and claims to have returned to the living world via the backroads of Yomi.

He manipulates others, forcing them to commit killings for him. Then, under the pretense of helping Ebisu, he plotted to murder him and stole the newly acquired "Word." Furthermore, through his phantoms, he indiscriminately manipulates humans and drives them to commit suicide.

Father shows particular interest in Yukine, the Blessed Vessel, declaring that "he will be mine eventually," which leads to Yato being especially wary of him. After Hiyori Iki learns the secret of the gods, conflict arises between her and Father. He then resorts to threats, sending phantoms to attack her father's hospital.
