Ryuuji Sashinami

Shouko's father was the Prime Minister of JIOR, but after JIOR was occupied, he was captured by the Dorssian army. Just before reaching the Moon, he was used as a bargaining chip by Delius Wartenberg, the commander of the Dorssian fleet. After telling Shouko that he was leaving the final decision to her, he was killed by the Harakiri Blade of Valvrave I, perishing together with the Dorssian fleet. Privately, he was portrayed as a caring father to his daughter, and in episode 13 of ‘2nd’, there was a scene where he had a photograph displayed of Shouko together with Ryuuji Sashinami.

Regarding Ryuuji Sashinami's death, Shouko, not wanting to make Haruto Tokishima feel guilty, decided to keep this matter secret along with L-ELF. However, in episode 22 of ‘2nd’, L-ELF revealed this to Haruto Tokishima, which deepened Haruto Tokishima’s feelings for Shouko. Additionally, Haruto Tokishima came to understand the meaning of the “Wall of Lies”, and during the final battle, in opposition to Cain Dressel, who justified it, he brought up the matter involving Shouko and Ryuuji Sashinami.
