A taciturn and gentle worker. He is a worrier and cares about the people around him. His family is large, and his younger siblings always keep the house lively. The name of his eldest sister is "Chigusa" (voiced by Maasa Kobayashi).

His specialty is the hook shot, and he has the height to perform dunks. He is also known for his high defensive ability, referred to as "Ibushi Gin." After Kiyoshi's return, he plays as a substitute for Kuroko and Kagami along with Koganei.
