Atar is a girl from the elite unit called "Alcorn" in the manga *KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World*. She is first seen as a strict follower of the Empire, ordered to hunt down those with special powers in the village where Yukito Urabe and his friends live. Atar is strong and rarely shows her emotions. Even though she looks a bit older than Mitama, no one knows her real age. While she starts off as an emotionless "machine", her heart starts to open up after she spends time with Yukito and the others. This change leads her to join them as an ally, and she even becomes a bass player in their band later on.
Atar appears as a teenage girl who looks slightly older than Mitama.
Her most unique feature is that she can release heat from her hands strong enough to blow up a mountain.
There is no clear information about her true age.
Atar is very devoted and tends to rely on others.
At first, she follows the Emperor and the Parliament without question, like a machine.
After joining Yukito’s group, she starts to develop her own feelings, especially during her interactions with another Alcorn member, Tishtrya.
She doesn't show much emotion, but changes as she gets closer to her new friends.
Atar was born near the end of the Empire as a part of "Alcorn," a special task force.
Because the Alcorn unit had a strict chain of command, she mostly communicated only with Loki (the messenger) and Tishtrya (the healer).
Atar is a powerful fighter.
She can release massive amounts of heat from her palms, enough to destroy mountains with a single blow.
Before the Empire fell, going all-out in battle could even change her appearance.
Her closest contacts in Alcorn were Loki and Tishtrya.
Later, she decides to join Yukito and his group as an ally after losing her place in the Empire.
She grows attached to Yukito because he gives her a new purpose.
Imperial Attack on Kakuri
Atar is ordered by the Empire to attack the village where Yukito and his friends live.
She battles Mitama fiercely, even cornering her at one point.
But during their fight, Loki (a fellow Alcorn member) interferes, causing Atar to lose.
Alliance Offer
After Loki and other members of Alcorn revolt against the Empire, Atar is left without power and a home.
Yukito offers her an alliance, and she joins his team.
Changing Loyalties
When Atar was in Alcorn, she thought the Emperor and Parliament were absolute.
When the Empire falls, she puts her trust in Yukito and works with his group to restore what she once believed in.
New Bonds and Growth
Through her interactions with Tishtrya, Atar begins to develop emotions and a sense of self, moving away from her machine-like nature.
Band Member
In the Gaia arc, she joins the Salvation Mitama Church Choir Band as the bass player.
Atar loves ice cream and is often seen eating it after becoming friends with Yukito and the others.
