Despite constantly mocking him, she does acknowledge Subaru’s abilities to some extent and evaluates him more fairly than her insults suggest.

Her sense of responsibility is strong, and she quietly takes care of those around her.

Even when she complains or mocks, she often does so while still doing the work or offering support.

Rem

Ram is the older twin sister of Rem and cares deeply about her.

Their bond is so strong that when Rem died of exhaustion and weakness in the second major story arc, Ram was shaken to the point of losing her sanity.

In childhood, the existence of Ram’s exceptional horn allowed both sisters to live, even though they would normally have been killed as cursed children.

Because of this background, Ram carries a strong sense of responsibility and affection toward Rem, even when she teases her.

Roswaal L. Mathers

Ram serves Roswaal L. Mathers as his maid but feels much more than simple loyalty.

She holds a deep affection for him that goes beyond the normal relationship of master and servant.

Roswaal’s will effectively defines Ram’s purpose in life, and his wishes are the guiding principle behind her actions.

She entrusts her future to him, relying on him not only for orders but also for the magical support that keeps her alive.

Subaru Natsuki

Ram constantly bombards Subaru Natsuki with insults and merciless commentary.

However, beneath her mocking manner, she recognizes his determination and efforts and does not dismiss him entirely.

She often acts as a verbal “drill sergeant” for Subaru, cutting him down when he is arrogant or foolish.

At the same time, she silently acknowledges his growth and contributions, even if she rarely praises him openly.

Wind Magic

Ram can use wind magic to attack and maneuver in battle.

She is able to form blades of wind that precisely target an opponent’s vital points.

She can also use wind to leap into the air and fight while wielding her favored staff.

Ram belongs to the Oni race, a type of demi-human known for their horns and extraordinary power.

She is one of the few survivors of her clan, whose village was attacked and destroyed by the Witch Cult.

Oni absorb mana from the atmosphere through their horns, which function as their main conduits for magical energy.

During the Witch Cult attack, Ram lost her horn, cutting her off from that vital mana source.

In the past, while her horn was intact, Ram was a prodigy among the Oni, famed for the beauty of her horn and its exceptional mana absorption.

Her horn’s power and appearance were so extraordinary that she and Rem, who would normally have been killed as cursed children, were spared and allowed to live.

When she still had her horn, Ram’s combat strength was said to surpass even that of Roswaal L. Mathers.

As a child, she was able to fight Witch Cultists alone and hold her own against them, making her a terrifying force despite her age.

After losing her horn, Ram can no longer independently absorb enough mana from the environment.

As a result, she suffers from chronic mana deficiency, which causes constant physical discomfort and various forms of weakness.

To stay alive, she must regularly receive mana directly from Roswaal L. Mathers, who is a powerful mage capable of supplying what she lacks.
