Sadamune Ogasawara

A samurai appointed as the governor of Shinano by Emperor Go-Daigo upon the recommendation of Takauji. He has a fierce appearance with his eyeballs protruding from their sockets. An ambitious man aiming to expand his domain by leveraging Takauji's influence, he possesses extraordinary observational skills and vision. His archery skills, utilizing his exceptional eyesight, are unparalleled in the land, earning high praise from the Emperor as a master martial artist. Known as the "Clairvoyant Demon" in the North and South Courts' game of tag.

He is tasked by Takauji with hunting down the remnants of the Hojo clan in Shinano and employs underhanded and forceful methods to track down Tokiyuki, earning the resentment of the Suwa family. Despite this, he is well-versed in etiquette and holds the belief that "even the lives you take deserve respect."

In 1333, after competing in a dog-chasing contest with Chojumaru (Tokiyuki), he engages in numerous battles. Yorishige advises Tokiyuki to observe Sadamune's archery, and Tokiyuki attempts to learn his techniques while hiding his identity and fleeing. Despite being an enemy, Tokiyuki respects him as "another master" alongside Yorishige.

During the Nakasendai Rebellion, upon hearing the name "Hojo Tokiyuki," he attempts to take him down single-handedly but fails. He then witnesses Tokiyuki's departure from Shinano.
