Mikan Akemi

A childhood friend of Asahi and a glasses-wearing member of the newspaper club. She enjoys seeing others in distress or dislike and conversely, her spirits drop when she is happy. As such, she earned the nickname 'Outlaw Queen'. Her glasses are actually toy glasses she received from Asahi when she was a child. When Rin's true identity as a future person and her habit of calling herself 'grandma' were revealed, she completely realized her feelings for Asahi. Finding out that Asahi sees her as the opposite sex, she starts plotting and scheming to make Asahi completely hers, stating, 'it doesn't matter what happens in the middle as long as I ultimately end up as his wife', 'it's fine even if I'm the legal wife and Youko is the mistress'. She is good at making a wicked tasting treat called 'Russian Choux Cream' and later develops various kinds of Russian Choux with Youko. While she was in a different class from Asahi and others in her second year (from volume 1 to 10 in the comics), she is in the same class in her third year (from volume 11 in the comics onwards). Height: 160cm. Weight: 46kg. Born on September 21. Blood type A. Likes Asahi, gossip, money, beef. Dislikes cheese, fermented foods like Natto. Special skill: saving money. Hobby: making sweets.

Voice - Akita Shimogamachi

This is the animated spirit of Mikan's toy glasses, which she has been using for many years, and identifies itself as a 'Fortune God in Training'. Thinking that it was doing good by using the power of the Fortune God, it inadvertently causes troublesome situations, or reveals secrets to help Mikan reform, which has resulted in Mikan treating it as a plague god. There are also other spirits dwelling in the glasses, like 'Happiness Contractor' Fuku-senpai (sunglasses), 'Happiness Encyclopedia' Fukutaro-senpai (thick glasses), 'Great Happiness Teacher' Fukuzo-san (Groucho glasses), etc.
