Kiyotaka Ijichi

In the Jujutsu High, he is a male assistant director who is central to organizing meetings, managing proceedings, and allocating missions to sorcerers. He is 26 years old. He approaches his duties with a business-like attitude, for better or worse, but at heart, he is sensible and kind, and internally struggles with sending young sorcerers into dangerous situations. He is constantly stressed by being caught between the innovative Satoru Gojou and the conservative upper echelons of the sorcery world. Originally aspiring to be a sorcerer himself, he was advised by Gojou to quit. Gojou, Kento Nanami, and Mei Mei are his seniors by two years, while Naobito Zenin and Yuu Haibara are one year his senior. Although he is an assistant director, he possesses considerable tactical and endurance skills, capable of defeating up to a Grade 3 cursed spirit if he tries hard. During the Shibuya Incident, he was stabbed three times from behind by Haruta Shigemo but survived. According to the guidebook, his name is derived from Kiyotaka Ijichi, the drummer of Asian Kung-Fu Generation, and is recognized by the person himself.
