Kou Minamoto

One of the main characters of this work. A male third-year student at Kamome Academy's junior high school.

A descendant of "Minamoto no Yorimitsu," an exorcist who once defeated Shuten-doji, one of Japan's three great yokai, he has the ability to see apparitions. His goal is to become an exorcist like his brother.

His weapon is the "Thunder Staff," a staff whose lower part splits into three and can release the owner's spiritual power as lightning. However, after a battle with Hanako, it was sealed away as he was told he "couldn't handle it."

He is compassionate and hot-blooded in nature, and very honest. He cooks all the meals for the Minamoto family and is skilled at cooking.

He is fond of Nene, calling her "senpai" and admiring her. Initially, he saw Hanako as an enemy, but after fighting together several times, he began to trust him, and they became good friends and good rivals, with Nene between them. His preferred type is someone with a cute smile.

He has blond hair, sharp eyes, and narrow pupils. He also wears an earring with the word "Traffic" on one ear (right ear). Mitsuba (details below) used to call him "self-proclaimed exorcist (lol) with a lame Traffic earring."
