Akane Aoi

First-year A class at Kamome Academy High School. Akane's childhood friend. Normally serious and quiet, treating everyone equally, and relied upon by all classmates. Vice president of the student council. However, he has loved Akane since childhood, and becomes somewhat loose-headed when it comes to her. He strives daily to be recognized by Akane. Due to his childhood friend's remarks, he continuously reinvents himself to confess and be rejected, confessing and being rejected, with a record of 0 wins and 3624 losses. Also deeply jealous, if Akane finds someone she likes, or if someone confesses to her, he is prone to trying to kill them with a nailed bat.

He has brown hair and wears square glasses. His eyes are big, and he has a student council badge on his left arm, and a watch on his left wrist. He also wears a vest with his uniform.

Until graduating from elementary school, he was the first of the Seven Mysteries, currently a Timekeeper who can only stop time for about five minutes three times a day and only within the school. He refers to Hanako as "Number Seven" and dislikes him slightly.
