Kagami Yagami

Kagami Yagami appears as a slim high school girl with a flat chest.

She is 16 years old, which matches Sasami Tsukuyomi’s age.

Her tired-looking eyes and constant yawning make her look sleepy all the time.

Though her actual construction is robotic, she looks just like a real human girl.

Kagami comes off as always sleepy and relaxed.

She uses a unique way of speaking, often ending sentences with “...it is.”

She tends to make silly puns, especially in the anime.

Kagami is caring and gentle, and she shows happy, sad, and angry emotions just like any human girl.

She enjoys sleeping and tries to take naps during school breaks.

Kagami is the middle sister of the three Yagami sisters.

She was made from a piece of Tsurugi Yagami’s body that was cut off and transformed by the secret group called Arahaba-ki.

Originally, this flesh was cursed and thrown away by Tsurugi to remove a curse caused by an enemy attack.

Arahaba-ki discovered it and used it to build Kagami as a “god-made robot.”

Tsurugi later rescued her from Arahaba-ki, and because Kagami was already developing feelings and a sense of self, Tsurugi decided to raise her as family.

Even though Kagami’s divine status is weaker than Tsurugi’s or Tama Yagami’s, she has a lot of spiritual equipment and weapons that give her powerful abilities among humans.

She is considered both a sister and a daughter to Tsurugi Yagami, but since her body is all mechanical, she has no organic parts.

Kagami is a spiritual robot with a body made from machinery, but she acts like a human in most ways.

She can eat food and sleep, showing she isn’t just a cold machine.

She is packed with all kinds of weapons and tools hidden inside her body.

These include spiritual devices, missiles, and the sacred “Yata no Kagami” mirror.

She holds the spirit of the Flame Emperor and can use strong fire powers.

Kagami can also fly by growing wings from her back.

Even though she doesn’t float in the air like gods, she’s just as effective in battle.

Kagami and Sasami Tsukuyomi started out not being close, especially after meeting on the Yagami Sisters SNS incident.

As Sasami comes out of her shell, they both become one another’s first true friend.

Their bond is so strong that people see them as more than just friends.

Sasami often says things like, “I love Kagami!” and “Maybe I’ll have to marry Kagami,” which makes their friendship seem like it could be more than just best friends.

Later on, Sasami gets a new friend and rival, Jou Edogawa, which makes Kagami feel a bit jealous, especially because of what happened with Arahaba-ki.

Kagami also has a close family relationship with her sisters, especially Tsurugi Yagami, who treats her like both a sister and a daughter.

Becoming a Spiritual Robot

Kagami’s story began when Tsurugi Yagami was attacked by an enemy and had to cut away a cursed part of her body.

That part was found by the human group Arahaba-ki and turned into a robot girl.

She was created for secret experiments and has many weapons inside.

Family and Self-Growth

After being rescued by Tsurugi Yagami, Kagami started to have her own thoughts and feelings.

Following her older sister’s sometimes unreasonable adventures, Kagami’s personality grew, and she became more human.

First Friendship

At first, Kagami did not interact much with Sasami Tsukuyomi.

But when Sasami stopped being a shut-in, they quickly became each other’s first friend.

Their friendship is very special and important to them.

Kagami often makes puns, such as “That’s sweet. Like chocolate,” and “Total defeat. Like the shrine.”

She is the one who does most of the cooking at home for the Yagami sisters.

Even though she is a robot, Kagami enjoys eating and sleeping just like a real girl.
