He is proud of his fighting sense, but because of his small size, his fighting power alone is not very high.

Kelly Funk comes from the Mogaro Kingdom, a country near Dressrosa in the New World.

With his brother Bobby Funk, he becomes part of the feared "Funk Brothers," famous assassins known throughout the underworld, able to take down even pirates with bounties over 100 million.

Jacket-Jacket Fruit

Kelly has eaten the Jacket-Jacket Fruit, which is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit.

It allows him to turn himself into a jacket.

Anyone or anything (even animals!) who wears this jacket version of Kelly gets taken over, both body and mind.

This is called becoming the "Jacket Human."

Techniques

• Jacket-Jacket Double Kimono – Kelly turns into a jacket and lets someone wear him.
• Rarara Rumble (Rarara Ranbo) – When in control of Bobby’s body, Kelly unleashes a storm of strong punches.

Kelly Funk’s most important relationship is with his younger brother, Bobby Funk.

They fight together as the Funk Brothers and use each other’s strengths during battles.

Kelly controls Bobby’s strong body to make up for his own weaknesses.

Dressrosa Arc and Corrida Colosseum

Kelly enters the Corrida Colosseum with his brother Bobby to fight for the Flame-Flame Fruit.

It’s hinted that they are taking part on orders from the Mogaro Kingdom.

In the C Block, Kelly knocks out one participant but is quickly beaten by Boo of the Happo Navy.

He then uses his Jacket-Jacket power—taking over Bobby’s body—to defeat Boo easily.

Soon after, they lose to Sai’s mighty punch, and both brothers are knocked out of the tournament.

After the Tournament

Kelly and Bobby are dropped into the Colosseum’s basement and turned into toy slaves due to Sugar’s Devil Fruit powers.

Later, thanks to Usopp and the Tontatta Tribe, he returns to normal.

Kelly then joins Luffy D. Monkey and the others, pretending to help them sneak into Doflamingo’s castle.

But in truth, he tries to trick Luffy and Law by guiding them into a trap to claim their bounties for Doflamingo.

Kelly attempts to ambush them in a flooded well, where Luffy’s Devil Fruit powers weaken.

However, Doflamingo’s string clone appears and defeats Kelly from behind with no mercy.

What happens to Kelly after this is unknown.

• Kelly Funk’s favorite food is a large mug of raw eggs.
• Kelly’s first name comes before his last name, which is rare for characters in ONE PIECE.

It is unclear if this is a custom in the Mogaro Kingdom or for another reason.

• Kelly may have some connections with the government of the Mogaro Kingdom, but this is only hinted at and never explained.
